AN ONGOING DAMARIS LAND STUDIO PERFORMANCE ART SERIES

Channel Tap Collection 01
The very first Channel Tap Collection took place on November 7th, 2025, in collaboration with Emily Leonard Trenholm’s Bomb Cyclone show held at Interloc in Thomaston, Maine.
Damaris was guided to activate the painting entitled "Parting of the Trees" through a vocal toning session. The group’s energy was focused on, and gathered from, the painting.

How does a Channel Tap work?
Damaris energetically reads the space with dowsing rods and is guided to the piece the performance will be centered around.
Next, she leads participants in silent gazing of the artwork, followed by a collective vocal toning session. Eyes shut, the artwork is held behind the eyelids as participants respond tonally. The soundscape is captured by an omnidirectional microphone.
Damaris then plays back the audio recording to the participants, eyes open and focused again on the artwork. Participants experience the translation of color and shape and energetic content into a more tactile, vibrational form.
"Tonal frequencies are what we are made of. Our very cells shake and vibrate in the ether. Tapping into collective consciousness through vocal toning is one way to bring forth harmonic resonance and realign with multiple dimensions / timelines. "
