The Intro:

Damaris energetically reads the space and allows the universe to guide her to the art piece that the performance will be centered around.

 

The Ceremony:

Damaris leads the participants in concordant gazing of the artwork for a series of minutes in silence, followed by a collective vocal toning session with eyes shut and the artwork held behind the eyelids, fresh in the eyes. The soundscape is captured by an omnidirectional microphone.

 

The Finale:

Damaris plays back the audio recording to the participants (eyes open and focused again on the artwork) allowing for both versions of the channeled works to coexist and form a more potent planar experience. A means of activating the gazed upon visual artwork. Allowing the work a soundscape to exist within, a translation of color and shape and energetic content into a more tactile, vibrational form!
